THE STATE MTV SHOW
THE STATE BOOK
"State by State with The State" - our
uninformed, poorly researched journal/guide to travelling the USA, published by
Hyperion Press. It's out of print but possible to find. Try online at amazon.com
or ebay.
THE STATE ALBUM
Our comedy album was completed long ago, but it seems that Warner Brothers has
no intention of ever releasing it. The title is "Comedy for Gracious
Living." It consists of all new material. If you want them to release it,
write to
Warner Brothers Records

THE FUTURE OF THE STATE
The State is currently not still actively together as a full group. Our most
recent performances as The State were headlining the Big Stinkin' International Improv Festival
in Austin, Texas, in 1997, an October 1999 panel discussion and performance by
Kerri, Showalter, Tom and David at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, and a
full group reunion retrospective/performance at the New York Comedy Film
Festival, November 11, 2000. All eleven members of the group appear in the films RENO 911! Miami and The Ten, both released in 2007.
The members of The State remain in contact and do
many projects with each other (see below). As for us working together again as
a whole group, under the name "The State," it is unlikely but not inconceivable that it
will happen in the near future.
Since the group stopped working together exclusively (after
the CBS Special) members of The State have done a number of non-State projects.
